These transparent specimen jars, used for preserving different specimens in the lab are provided with a cap that fits in tight. These jars provided excellent protection to the species preserved in it.

Polylab desiccators are made of polypropylene and polycarbonate. These autoclable vaccum desiccators can hold vaccum upto 740 mm of Hg for 24 hrs without any greasing. The top dome, moulded in rigid and transparent polycarbonate, gives a crystal clear view of the desiccant placed inside. The knurled knob on the top provides easy handling of the dome. The lower part is made of polypropylene. An internal groove is provided on the flange to hold a silicon rubber O-Ring. The polypropylene stopcock is fitted with a self lubricating PTFE plug. This plug works three way i.e. vaccum creation, shutting off & vacucum releasing.

Plain Desiccators are physically the same as Vaccum desiccators. Only difference is the absence of stop cock. Grease should be applied on the flanges to make it air tight. Both Vaccum & Plan Desiccators are provided with a thick perforated Polypropylene disc with a big hole in the centre for easy lifting. The tiny holes in the disc provide air troughs & support to the dishes. However porcelain discs are advisable in case of incandescent crucibles.

Polylab Kipp's Apparatus made of polyethylene has three main portions. The top portion is fitted with a thistle funnel and a bulb structure through which dilute acid can be poured which reacts with a metal sulphide in the base of the apparatus. H2S gas then evolved colletcs in the middle dome from where it can be released through a leakproof stopcock fitted with a self lubricating PTEE plug. The base is provided with a residual outlet fitted with a cap for easy cleaning.

This transparent polypropylene cap for Test Tubes proves to be an excellent protection to the contents to the tubes. The grooves inside the cap tighten the fitting on the tube while the outer grooves would hold identification labels. The built in seal ring would set in the tube making the combination a leakproof one.

Moulded in Polypropylene, Spatula consists of a spoon on one side while the other end is a flat construction with a knife edge. This edge is helpful in breaking up crystals of different salts while the spoon is used to draw salts from the containers.
